Introduction To Show Jumping Class

Designed to be an inviting first class at any horse show. This single round class offers the young horse the opportunity to start his/her horse show experience with an uncomplicated course that includes simple fillers and ground lines.

Scored under Table II- No jump off. All clear rounds remain tied. Prize money shall be divided equally amongst all the clear rounds.

Style Class:

The Style Class is a great way to get some feedback from a judge on the suitability of the young horse for the jumpers. For this single round course,  fifty percent of the score is judged on technique, rideability, and suitability for the jumping sport and fifty percent is scored on performance

50% of the score is based on performance, and 50% of the score is based on style. To be scored minus (-) 5 points for a knockdown or refusal, and minus (-) 1 point per time fault. No jump off.

Rising Star Class

The Stake class has been formulated to educate the young horse in a jump off format. By using the optimum time in the jump off round, riders are encouraged to use the course for education as opposed to competition.  Horses with clear rounds, or in the case of no clear rounds, with equal faults will jump off under the Optimum Time format.

Scored under Table IV Sec. 2 (a or b) - Optimum time. (Horse must have competed in at least one NAYJDP class to qualify for the Stake Class)
